Ravinder Thukral, partner at Brown Rudnick LLP, is running the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon for the ILBF. The money raised will pay for shipments of legal texts across the world. Feedback about the impact of the books is essential to the ILBF and we were delighted to hear from the African Prisons Project last week (APP). The ILBF shipped books to the APP in the autumn of 2016: the shipment included books donated and packed by the University of Manchester library team and LexisNexis UK. The APP undertakes ground-breaking and vital work with prisons in Uganda and Kenya which supports both prisoners, prison staff and the wider community.
