This autumn, the ILBF is launching a new quarterly newsletter, to keep our supporters and friends up to date with our work, to discuss projects and opportunities, to help generate fundraising ideas and to bring the global community of ILBF contributors and recipients together!
The ILBF partners with a wide network of organisations, including law firms, chambers, in-house legal teams, law students and institutions, to support a range rule of law programmes globally.
Our mission is to support the rule of law and access to justice across the globe through the sharing of legal knowledge. By making legal resources available to key institutions worldwide we are helping to drive legal education and promote legal consistency, authority and fairness.
Repurposing printed texts also helps the environment and drives sustainability within the legal sector. Tens of thousands of legal textbooks are finding new homes supporting lawyers across the globe instead of going into landfill.
In our work, the ILBF supports the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and in particular SDG 16 Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, which promotes peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, providing access to justice for all and building effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
Each quarter we will bring you news of this work, including reports on donations and shipments, feature articles on ILBF collaborations and the latest updates on partnerships and funding.
We have a lot of positive news to share with the ILBF community as we strive towards these goals. We’re also keen to engage with new and existing partners and look forward to receiving your feedback and ideas.
