Professor Tetyana Antsupova – Senior Fellow at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL)
Tetyana is an experienced academic and legal professional with a European Human Rights Law background. As a Judge of the Supreme Court in Ukraine (2017-2023), she contributed as a co-author to judge training programs on legal writing. Her expertise spans judicial reforms in Ukraine, focusing on promoting the judiciary’s independence. Tetyana is the lead researcher of the BIICL Project “The Dynamics of the Judiciary in Ukraine in the Context of the Rule of Law and the EU Accession Aspirations“.

Professor Parosha Chandran – King’s College London and One Pump Court
Parosha is a Professor of Practice in Modern Slavery Law at King’s College London, a multi award-winning human rights barrister at One Pump Court Chambers and a world-leading authority on the law relating to human trafficking, including for the United Nations and Council of Europe. Through her work as a barrister she has set critical legal precedents for over two decades in the courts, with international, regional and domestic influence, to establish respect for the rule of law and obtain protection for the rights of victims of trafficking and modern slavery abuse. She is the only lawyer to have succeeded in obtaining three unanimous judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, in individual cases against three different governments, to ensure victim protection in the field of human trafficking.

Patrick Stevens – Rule of Law Director, International Justice Development
Patrick is an internationally renowned leader in justice development and delivery with two decades of unrivalled experience. After leading some of the UK’s most sensitive and serious terrorism cases post 9/11, Patrick helped set up and lead the Crown Prosecution Service’s (CPS) International Division for over a decade and was the CPS’s first International Director. Representing the UK Government, he personally led delivery across all major crime threats in over fifty jurisdictions. Patrick is a senator of the International Association of Prosecutors, a Palace Playmaker (an Ambassador for the community charity of Crystal Palace FC) and is a member of the Government’s new Soft Power Council, advising the Foreign Secretary and Minister for Culture, Media, and Sport as to how the UK can best harness and utilise its soft power globally.

Derval Walsh – Partner, Brown Rudnick
Derval has expertise in complex banking and finance disputes, including property acquisition. Derval has extensive experience in complex cross-border disputes (both litigation and arbitration). He has been involved in disputes involving rights in respect of loan notes, securitisations, syndicated loans, sovereign debt, interbank money market debt and fund investments. He is ranked by Chambers and Legal 500.
