We will be exploring this theme further at our event on 25th November. We’re celebrating our 15th anniversary which we have called ‘Future Thinking and Why Books Remain Irresistible’. We are delighted that we’ll be joined by our speakers, Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, founder and patron of the ILBF and former Lord Chief Justice, Professor Richard Susskind OBE, and Lord Burnett of Maldon, Lord Chief Justice.

We’ll discuss the future of the legal profession and how books and technology can bridge the justice gap. We will also launch our law student essay competition. Ellen Lake is one of our team of judges and she is looking forward to hearing from law undergraduates about what they want technology to achieve to further the cause of access to justice and greater diversity in the legal profession.
