Books sent to the Malawi Prisons Service have now arrived and are awaiting distribution to prisons in  Zomba, Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu.

Feedback that we have received on behalf of the Chief Commissioner of Prisons has been very positive. The books donated by the ILBF will “assist the Department to reduce overcrowding through the inmates’ timely access to legal information and advice”. We look forward to hearing how the books are used.
