Books for libraries in Zimbabwe

The Legal Resources Foundation (LRF) is one of the oldest human rights NGOS in Zimbabwe. Alongside its other work across Zimbabwe, it is responsible for the only national network of law libraries, with five libraries in five major towns. The LRF’s objectives are to strive for justice by empowering people through education.
The libraries are used for lawyers, law students, police, prison officers, the judiciary and the general public. The ILBF sent a shipment of 12 boxes of mixed texts, including law reports, late last year. On receiving the books Deborah Barron, the National Director of the LRF said:

‘We would like to reiterate our appreciation of your support to us. The bulk of ILBF books are being shared between our two main libraries, in Harare and Bulawayo, with the remainder going to the three smaller libraries in Gweru, Masvingo and Mutare.’
